The recognition highlights KWA’s continued profitability following a successful 2018 fiscal year.
KWA Construction, a leading general contractor specializing in multi-family developments, has been recognized as a top private company in North Texas by the Dallas Business Journal, landing the 43rd spot on the publication’s annual list. Nearly 30 percent of the businesses on the list were construction companies, the highest proportion of any industry surveyed, and were ranked according to 2018 company-wide revenue.

Noteworthy projects that are fueling the company’s growth include the $32-millon HUB 121 at Craig Ranch, which will add 286 urban residences in one of McKinney’s most sought-after entertainment districts, as well as The Cooper, a $65 million, 390-unit contemporary urban residential community in Fort Worth, the largest project of its kind in the Near Southside district.
This year, KWA also secured rankings on the Dallas Business Journal’s Middle Market 50 list, which recognizes both public and private companies in North Texas, and the Top General Contractors list, which recognizes prominent construction firms in the region.
